With February only weeks away, love is in the air between you and your pet. And when it comes to our pets, we are always looking for ways to show them even more love then we already do. These are some things you can do, not just in February, but all year long, that will surely show your pet just how deep your love for them runs.
Take Them to Their Favorite Place
If your dog's perfect day involves running laps at the dog park, or chasing the ducks in the pond, take him! If it's a long walk they love, lace up your shoes and don't forget the water (for you and your pet). Whatever you do, remember that it's all about them. Put down your phone and be present with your pup. And we didn't forget the cat lovers. Simply getting on the ground to play with them is probably their most favorite thing of all!
Get Them a Special Treat
Steer clear from the grocery candy aisle when it comes to your pet. We are thinking more like a pet bakery, or even something that you can do yourself. Remember to check the ingredients when baking yourself!
Let Them Pick Out a New Toy
Remember when you got to go to the toy store to pick out whatever toy you wanted? Now it's time to do this for your pet! Take them to the pet store and let them sniff out the toy they choose.
Plan a Play Date
The friends that play together, stay together and that also goes for the four-legged friends! We know that you have a friend or two that also has a pet whose energy needs tiring! Set up a play date for your pup on a monthly basis so you can continue introducing him to new friends, while also giving him something extra fun to look forward to.
